Jan. 25th, 2006 05:46 pmWell I've done my rabid guinea pig impression now!
Managed to run to make a poster, then run to the library and photocopy it, then run back to Langwith to meet and pay so I can have punch tomorrow night. Then run over to Goodricke for the Environment Council - all in ten mins. I had to be in two places at once for 4o'clock, and I was only five mins late for the meeting, and lots of people still traipsed in after me! *proud grin*
Gave my update, got some free chocolate, and bought an 'eco girl' t-shirt, which is tres cool, and I can recycle in it!
Then my dad rang while I was still in the meeting, and then he txt'd me asking me to pick up my phone. Eventually I did - once I was out of the meeting, and I ended up having to lean against the wall, holding the phone with one hand, and I tried to write his instructions into my diary with the other hand (holding both the diary and pen in the same hand).
Must have looked quite odd, because I kept thinking he was finished, so I stopped leaning on the wall and carried on walking - only to lunge for the wall again a minute later!
So I now have to go and view a house, on my own, this saturday. Dad doesn't want me to take the others with me, and only Lianne would've been able to make it anyway(maybe, if her parents weren't up, which I think they are, so probably no).
Don't think I'll tell them where I'm going though - just in case it turns out to be a dud, and I don't want to get their hopes up. But Dad says it's one of the most promising he's found so far, and he wants me to see it and get an opinion. Yay! Stuff's actually happening on the house-front now! ^_^
Got a shed-load of homework to catch up on tonight, so I'm for-going Desperate Housewives round Laura's and staying in. Will probably lock myself in, if Steph's not out, and refuse her the use of my bed. I couldn't get her and Lianne to leave last night! They were both really tired, and I think a bit drained from kickboxing, and they just didn't want to get up from my beds'. Aww...I kicked them out anyway.
Anyway, the homework is from all my classes, but for once I'm actually on top of eco (temporarily), so at least that's one thing I don't have to worry about. Although I do really need a job, so I might go hunting this weekend after looking at the house, and I think I'll go desperate and ask EVERYWHERE.
...might drink the rest of my nice wine tonight - before someone knocks it over again, and the rest of it gets spilled. Mmmm...apples...
