Oct. 9th, 2006 09:43 amGas dude was meant to come and do our yearly gas test at 9am today. He still hasn't showed up. I am not impressed.
I don't know whether I can go for a shower or not, 'cause he might arrive (really late), while I'm in the shower.
Just tried knocking on Steph's door to see if she'd be able to let him in if he did come - 'cause I could hear her up and revising, and she's on the ground floor anyway, so she'd be able to get there quicker. But she ignored me!
Knocked twice, and called her name, and the walls here are paper-thin, so there's no way she could've missed all that. I guess I can understand not wanting to be disturbed while you're revising (she's got an exam on wednesday), but now I don't know how long to wait for the guy.
Normally I'd just think he was unreliable and a no-show, but people do find our road very difficult to find, 'cause it's quite new, and not on any maps...:s
I can give it to 11 at the latest I think, but then I definitely need to shower and head into uni.
Going to try and track my schedule down online, but I don't think our department puts it up there. And I want to meet up with Sian and Bunny for lunch, though that might not happen. So far I've heard from Sian, and she might not come if her housemates want to do something instead, so she's got 'til 12 to let me know if she'll have lunch with me. And I haven't heard from Bunny yet, so she might not be up.
Also, I'm feeling ill again. And I didn't drink enough last night for that to be the reason, even if it has been a while.
So I'm either having a reaction to my arthritis medicine, which probably isn't the cause, because I don't see why it would make me feel ill, and I haven't been taking it long enough for it to take effect. Or I'm getting a really bad cold-thing.
