Really want to be back at uni now - it's so slow here.

Doesn't help that my dad hasn't had to travel for his work recently, so I'm not allowed to download during the day (it slows down his computer), and he doesn't like me being on my laptop for too long - even though there isn't much else for me to do.

I can't go out because I don't have any money - shopping's out, as is going out for a drink, and it's a bit of a waste to pay the bus fare to cov or leam if I'm not going to do anything there.

But then I start to feel paranoid when I stay in the house - thinking dad's going to come and ban me from my laptop or something. And even though he doesn't do that he says little things to express his disapproval...doesn't make me actually do anything though, but it makes me feel bad.

Still I went out with him last night and we played raquetball, which was good.

I was all over the place to begin with, but then we started playing games, and I won 4/4, and we were at a draw on our 5th (as in we'd both gained 2 points each) when our court time ran out.

Only reason I won was because he gave me a 10 point handicap - think that's how you say it...in any case it meant I started with 10 points, and he didn't have any. First person to 15 wins.

I kept winning when he was around the 7 point mark though, so if it was an actual game I probably wouldn't do too badly, but I'd probably still lose to him. It's a good ego boost though!

Haven't really been able to settle lately though, in terms of fics & fandoms.

Normally I stay pretty loyal to Buffy, Stargate:Atlantis, and QAF...with some Harry Potter and X-Men thrown in...ooh, and x-overs as well!^^

Recently though I've been watching so many jdramas, that I've been wanting to read them too - and what few fics there are that are on the shows are generally small ones, and not something you can submerge yourself in.

Like, I love Hana Yori Dango, in terms of Tsukasa/Tsukushi, but there aren't many long fics (or good quality) - there are quite a few brilliant one-shots though.

Nobuto wo Produce and Kurosagi are also ones I'd like to read fics on - though I don't really have a pairing preference for them.

Oh well! I'm sure I'll cope...so far I've been going mad on the icons instead!^_~

Okay, so maybe my dad being home does have an effect on whether or not I do anything - ended up walking into town, and I also ended up buying some stuff...it was useful things though, so not too bad.

Had to get more deodorant, and I also wanted to try and find extra cartridges for ball point pens - seems a shame to get such a purty pen, and then have to throw it away when the ink runs out...

Of course, the ones I bought don't actually fit the pen I was using as an example, but hopefully they'll fit the one I want to get.^^ Yes, I am so sad that there is a *pen* I want to buy!

Also dropped off Rachel's hiragana book - apparently Loll Loll's mum had just been by to drop off some of her primary school artwork or something...busy day! - ended up having a chat with her dad, and it was quite nice, a lot more comfortable than when I've been talking to Rachel recently.

Katie was back from her driving lesson by the time I got back, and she'd just put in "Fun with Dick and Jane" (Jim Carrey & Tea Leoni film), so I watched that with her, and it was really funny. For some reason I really like Jim Carrey - though some of his acting does make me cringe, but that's 'cause I don't like the character he's playing - and I also think he's quite attractive. 0.o

Have just been watching some Arashi MV's as well - just A-RA-SHI and Sunrise Nippon.

I like them, but I am also v.v.disturbed by the MV's - in that they are just too young in them! And they're not wearing Johnny's traditionally flamboyant outfits. Somehow the normalcy of their clothes makes it that much worse!

Also, I ♥ MatsuJun...but his face looks the same as it does now( Read more... )

, while his body is that of about a 12 yr olds, and he has the skinniest legs I have EVER seen! --> So I am very disturbed by the fact that I still think he's attractive, and I'm blaming it on his prematurely-matured face, because anything else would just be traumatic!

Think I'll stick to the more recent Arashi stuff, in terms of MV's...my brain just can't cope with the young-ness. While I think Tegoshi (from NewS) is adorable when he first joined them, and is still 'ickle, I can at least tell he's grown since then...even if he is still kawaii. But MatsuJun's merging of old face, and under-developed body...it's just confusing!!

I can't really explain it, but I'm sure I'll get over it - I think I just wasn't expecting it to be like that.

Think I've got a personal record going now.

Have just realised that, aside from brief moments when I've been otherwise occupied (i.e.watching something/reading/eating), I've been in a black mood for almost a week!

I'm not sure if that's impressive, or just de-pressing...
